Waterjet Hydrofinish is an advanced surface-processing solution designed for stone, engineered materials and architectural surfaces. Integrated with a CNC waterjet cutting system, it uses a controlled high-pressure waterjet to create linear, brushed, grooved and decorative textures directly on the material surface.

How Waterjet Hydrofinish Technology Works

Unlike conventional waterjet cutting, which concentrates water pressure into a narrow cutting stream, Waterjet Hydrofinish distributes the waterjet through a rotating multi-nozzle head to process a wider surface area.

A high-pressure servo pump supplies water to the rotating head. The rotational speed, water pressure, stand-off distance and tool path are controlled through the CNC and PLC systems. As the nozzles move across the workpiece, the high-speed waterjets remove a controlled amount of surface material through accelerated erosion.

By adjusting the processing parameters, manufacturers can control:
